When Unity of Hollywood was searching for a new minister, the search committee was looking for a minister with the following spiritual gifts: is an effective preacher/speaker; has a sense of his ministry; ministers effectively to people in crisis situations; is an effective administrator; has a strong commitment to teaching classes; encourages people to relate their faith to their daily lives; is accepting of people with divergent backgrounds and traditions; is mature and emotionally secure; has a strong commitment to Unity Teachings; is a compassionate and caring person, sensitive to others' needs; takes time for personal needs (family, social life, etc.); and has a good sense of humor. The board, the search committee and Rev. Frank believe that they were each guided to the other through prayer and the Holy Spirit.
